The Incident Centre for Election Atrocities (ICEA) is a centre established to harmonize and coordinate evidence collection, preservation and advocacy on violence connected with elections. Global Rights currently serves as the host institution for the ICEA Secretariat and the ICEA comprises a community of activists, lawyers, and journalists concerned with demanding accountability for election-related atrocities in Nigeria. The Centre monitors, documents, disseminates and takes action on incidents of hate speech, election violence and associated crimes in a way to catalyze effective accountability as a counterpoise against election-related atrocity.
